I have been around San Leandro for 30 years and never tried this place .this place is the bomb great food and fast service and great prices.

Good food. Pretty standard diner type dishes, but the owners all really cared and showed it by checking on us often, never letting my coffee cup get empty, and being genuinely friendly. Such a small and cute place. I'll be back!

Great food, reasonable prices. Coffee could be better. Street parking. Not handicap accessible. Owners and staff friendly. Clean and cozy. Limited sitting usually crowded, possible wait, but worth the it. Wonderful specials Monday-Friday. Only open for breakfast and lunch.

Good local place. Very small inside. When I go there, I go for breakfast. I haven't had lunch there. Nothing outstanding about the meals, but consistent and good.

Food here is great, it's all homemade, you can tell they care about what they put into the food and it comes out delicious, breakfast here is for champions get yourself this tasty food mmmmm mmmm good

The food was, what I consider as a southern lady, good down home cooking with some Korean influenced twists that sound amazing!! Will have to try the Korean BBQ omelette next time...a diverse customer base with very friendly service in a diner type sitting.... You can tell it's a neighborhood favorite.

Good portions and good prices

Friendly, efficient service, reasonable prices, and good quality food. Recently re-opened after an extensive modernization of the kitchen, the restaurant remains a cozy and well liked place for breakfast or lunch in San Leandro attracting locals and nearby Oakland residents. It is open from 6 am to 2:30 pm. One dish off the menu worth considering is loco mocco, essentially modern Hawaiian comfort food.

Very prompt with service. Food was served hot and great flavor but the place is Very small..

You probably shouldn't come here. It will ruin your ability to enjoy any other diner. Then you'll be driving over from Downtown Oakland for their breakfast like I do 😁.

Great food, a little pricey, no frills

No wonder this place was packed! The food was GREAT! Also, the customer service was fantastic. They were busy, but we didn't wait long at all and the food was perfect. Fairly priced as well!

Awesome place that does everything right. Simple menu and clean place. They offer and option of rice for all entrees. Spicy pork bulgogi on the menu. Love it! But I had to order off the menu and get a Loco Moco!!!

The food was GREAT! The service was good. I haven't been here in 20 years and it was just as good as I remember it being as a kid.

Amazingly good french toast! The resturant is a bit small so you might not want to go there witha large party, but by yourself or with a single friend it's great. The atmosphere is very friendly and homey. A tiny bit expensive, but the food is worth it.

This place is been around for 40 years the best country breakfast you can get hands down there’s always a waiting line but it’s well worth the wait

Tiny little place with good food. Definite neighborhood vibe. Fast friendly service. The steak and eggs was delicious and was served very quickly.

The staff are professional, the meals are better than most breakfast diners in the area. It has taken me to flavor town on multiple occasions.

The Turkey-link sausage was disgusting. The scrambled eggs were bland. The French toast was amazing. It was on point.

Haven't been here since the remodel and reopening a couple of years ago. Refreshed look but just the same quality of comfort food and great staff. Small inside, not a lot of space but definitely the best hole in the wall breakfast!

People always tell me to come here. Decent prices and great options for breakfast. Only complaint I have is that the pork chop needs more seasoning.

kinda pricey if you are feeding more than two people but I love their breakfast plates! Food is fresh food with good quality.

Hashbrowns are hella greesy.. Barely any space to eat.

Very small cozy breakfast place. They have the best breakfasts in town. We drive from downtown Oakland to there. Food is excellent, staff very friendly. Even though it's a small place they get you in and out.

I was in the area to visit a local sports store and had some time for breakfast. Looking on Google I decided to stop here. I am glad I did. Driving up I found a small green building that had me second guessing myself but when I found a parking spot right in front I pulled in. Inside is set up in typical diner fashion with a few tables and counter seating. I was seated promptly. I ordered French toast, eggs, bacon and coffee. All was excellent and I particularly enjoyed the crispy bacon. While I was enjoying my breakfast I noticed several people come in and pick up orders or sit down to eat. I must have got there just in time to avoid the rush. The staff was very pleasant and had excellent customer service. My coffee cup was never empty. I was checked on several times, not only by my waitress but by the other staff as well. This place was a pleasant surprise and I will defiantly be stopping in again when I am in the area. Highly recommended.

Go anywhere else than here! I ordered a pancake and it was disgusting. It came out cold and under cooked. Go to McDonald's, you will get a better pancake from there. I won't be back.

Excellent food and service, every time I visit the Bay Area I go by there. You can't go wrong

I bought steak hamburger, meduim well done with grilled oniions and side salad. The hamburger steak was raw red in the middle. I brought iy back and requested my money back. I was a long time customer but after getting that, I'll never return again.

Just a simple down to earth homemade breakfast that really hits the spot

The food is solid, the prices on their specials are good, but the place is so cramped and small they kinda rush you out all the time and you're constantly bumping into people.

The breakfast was fabulous. Eggs were over easy as I asked, bacon was crisp and thick and consisted of 4 generous slices. The pancakes were phenomenal and optimally sized. Hence I’m glad I asked for 3. My coffee was acceptable. So why not 5 stars? Because when she came by to ask if I’d like more coffee, I asked whether she might pour it in a cup to go (as I ask everywhere I go). This was the first time a server paused to say that would cost an extra dollar. So I asked if she would simply bring me a cup and I’d pour the rest of my coffee into it 🤷🏽‍♂️. She brought the cup. I still left a tip for the wonderful meal but no 5 stars!

The food is fabulous, if you're a lover of big southern style breakfast you'll really enjoy your time here. It's a bit small so keep that in mind if you plan in eating onsite. Enjoy!!!
